Delhi-Gram: These Insta-Worthy Food Plates Are Love At First Sight!

Do you believe in food pornography? Basically, if you are someone like me who loves to click a pretty-looking picture for the mighty aesthetic Instagram feed and are guilty of stopping family and friends from bingeing on the delicious-looking food on the plates, simply to take a picture first, then of course you do!

Our 'Dilli' has no dearth of pretty-looking places, so if you love to keep your Instagram feed bright and shiny with drool-worthy pictures, just like me, here's a quick list that will keep you happy. Oh, not to forget these places will not fail to impress your tastebuds and will not hurt your pocket.

1. Tete-A-Tete

Tete-a-tete cafe in delhi
Say hello to these cake popsicles!

Leaving the hustle bustle of the noisy GK-1 N block main road behind, lies a quaint vibe, wooden decor, small bakery - Tete-a-Tete. From lovely street bites like masala maggi, chintu vada pav, lamb keema matar pav, good old french fries and of course all things deserts, you will get it all.

What makes this place awesome, is that this is one of the few bakeries in Delhi that delivers amazing home-baked cakes. My recommendation list for this very place will go on and on, but one should definitely be trying their cheesecakes, cake popsicles, high-tea cakes and their very own chintu vada pav. Don't forget to take some insta-worthy pics :)

Location: B 24 , Near N Block Market, Greater Kailash I

Cost for two: Rs 500

2. Rose Cafe

pizza, rose cafe
What's better than pizza slice in one hand and Sangria on another..

Rose Cafe, can be described like 'All Things Nice' kinda place. From their dreamy decor to lip-smacking food, this place cannot disappoint any food-cum-insta-lover! This Victorian-style cafe tucked away inside Saidulajab, near Saket, with pastel blue and pink ambience, has a lot of insta-worthy corners inside and will definitely leave you with a happy face.

Must Try: My vote for the best thing will be white cheese pizza with sundried tomatoes paired with traditional Sangria. Go try and thanks me later! Just a heads up, they serve Sangria on Sundays only.

Location: Westend Marg, Saiyad Ul Ajaib Extension, Sainik Farm

Cost for two: Rs 1000

3. Brown Sugar

Are you even really a Delhiite, if you are not addicted to the good old momos from Brown Sugar? This famous GK joint has been the hub of street food from years now, recently they opened their very own cafe in M-block market, and like always it has not failed to impress! With wooden chairs, sofas and quirky decor, this one is my favourite after work place on the weekdays.

If there, don't miss on their big-ass burgers, pita and hummus (Brown Sugar has one the best hummus to offer) and the good old blueberry cheesecake.

Location: M Block Market, Greater Kailash 1

Cost for two: Rs 600

4. Coffee Bond

Ever seen something as pretty as this little plate?

Want to fall in love over a cup of coffee? Head straight to Coffee Bond, I will give extra brownie points to this place for being health-friendly.

My pro tip - Don't forget to try out their lip-smacking yet easy on your waist line kinda desserts. Once a upon a time, I tried chia seed pudding dessert and I still can't forget the taste and this pretty looking plate. The best thing about this cafe is its ambience - picture a huge cosy window seat with loads and loads of plant nearby and a cup of coffee in your hand. Sounds interesting, right?

Location: M-28, 1st Floor, Greater Kailash 1

Cost for two: Rs 800

5. Fusion Bistro Cafe

What's not to like about a Falafel platter..

Looking to give your tastebuds a confluence of cuisines from across the world? Look no further - at Fusion Bistro Cafe you will get it all. From delectable pizzas, mezze platters, big fat burgers to flavours from China, there is a plate for every tastebud.

What's great is that they also offer a four-course weekend brunch..
